Maintenance and Retrofitting

ELEMKA undertakes maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of infrastructure elements – a highly specialized task that requires a different approach for each structure and type of repair. This may include among others minor interventions, such as repair of bearing surfaces, anti-corrosion protection, rehabilitation of surfaces or replacement of technical components, such as bearings, joints, etc. These tasks require experienced staff with technical adequacy and flexibility, especially in cases with lifting works using hydraulic jacks in confined spaces or where access is obstructed.

The main purpose of the repair-maintenance-replacement, in addition to the local intervention, is the upgrade of existing technical structures within the framework of modern know-how and the requirements of the new seismic regulations, which improves the seismic isolation and extends the "life" of the structures.
