Construction of a Steel Arch Railway Bridge for the Connection of N. Ikonio Port to the Rail Network

ELEMKA built and installed the steel bridges in the "Landslide Bridge" of the project "Earthworks and Technical Projects for the connection line of the port of Ikonio with the railway network from C.T. 15+850 to the end".

The subject of the work included the construction and installation of the central and arched landslide bridge as well as the access bridges. During the completion phase this bridge was the largest archer railway bridge that had been built in Greece 110 meters long, and its placement in the final position was done by the method of sliding, a particularly demanding and specialized work completed by ELEMKA with absolute success.
