Inspection and evaluation works on three above-ground crude oil tanks in a Power Plant in Saudi Arabia were completed, during in-service, using the appropriate API certified personnel and state-of-the-art equipment.
ELEMKA successfully completed the project, which included the inspection and evaluation of three crude oil tanks, using an autonomous, state-of-the-art remote-controlled vehicle (ROV), allowing engineers to inspect the entire tank perimeter without the use of scaffolding. As a result, the time required for inspection could be reduced, whilst obtaining high-precision data.
